What’s a “fixpoint”?
In mathematics, a fixpoint remains unchanged under the action of a function. In computing, fixpoint is the format of all discrete data, regardless of how else we choose to interpret those symbols in the real world. In life fixpoints are our still centers, deep goals and guiding stars.
